Carol DeAnda's Headshot, who has long wavy hair, glasses, wearing a white t-shirt and jeans, sitting on a blue couch, holding a professional camera in her hands, smiling at the camera.

Hey there! I’m Carol, the face (and camera) behind DeAnda Photography. With 17 years of experience in the industry, I specialize in capturing timeless, high-quality portraits that tell your story, whether it’s a playful family session, a powerful headshot, or an unforgettable wedding day.

Photography has been my passion since childhood, but I turned it into my career after studying Digital Photography at Harrington College of Design. Since then, I’ve photographed countless families, weddings, and professionals, always striving for perfection in lighting, posing, and composition.

At DeAnda Photography, my approach is simple: classic, clean, and timeless. No trendy filters, no gimmicks, just beautifully crafted portraits that let you shine. I take pride in offering a stress-free, professional experience while making sure we have some fun along the way!

Beyond the camera, I’m a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP), a dedicated educator in the photography industry, and an active member of PPA and PPANI. I have also earned my Master Wedding Photographer Degree through PPA, along with their Craftsmen Degree.

When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll find me teaching at conferences like WPPI and Imaging USA, working out at Orange Theory, obsessing over cheese, or rocking out to Korn, Fall Out Boy and Panic at the Disco.

Based in Algonquin, IL and serving families, professionals, and businesses in the Chicagoland area.

Let’s create something amazing together!
